Brianna - Bri - Trammell
Peanut butter fanatic.
Girl mom.
Woman of faith.
Loves family dance parties.
Your biggest cheerleader.
A firm believer in “Mothering the Mothers.”
You are so much stronger than you know!
And I will gladly remind you of that!
I lead with my heart and intentionality.
My primary love language is words of affirmation. So words carry so much weight for me, which is strange because I also have a tough time accepting compliments.
I am an Enneagram 9w1 (“the dreamer” or “the advisor”), which means I am motivated by what brings me peace, what my heart tells me is the right thing to do, and what will help those I care about. (If you are reading this, you are on the list of people I care about.)
I have been married to a ridiculously silly, caring, and heartfelt man since 2018. He is honestly my favorite person in the world.
We adopted our overly energetic black lab mix 2 months before discovering I was pregnant with our first daughter. I would not recommend this setup to anyone. LOL!
Our first daughter, Harmony Annalise, was born in September 2020 in a hospital with the support of our doula and an OBGYN. She is now a preschooler and is an incredible blend of sass, silliness, sweetness, and endless dance moves.
Our second daughter, Harper Elliana, was born at home in April 2023. She is now a sneaky, sweet, and spunky toddler who is always willing to join her big sister’s crazy parties.
Beautiful births can occur anywhere and with every provider type as long as the family is well supported in all aspects (emotional, physical, spiritual, cultural, and informational).
I feel strongly about every family having the support a doula brings to the birth space—especially BIPOC birthing families. Until our health system is no longer rooted in racist ideals, policies, and teachings, BIPOC birthing families need support.
I am an outgoing introvert. I love growing relationships and meaningful conversations with good souls and will talk for hours.
I am a weirdo. And I love that about me. I dance when food tastes good, I make crazy facial expressions, I have been caught at many red lights singing my heart out to the radio, and the list goes on.
I am the first and currently the ONLY BIPOC doula-tog in the state of Michigan. But I don’t want to be the only one!
